Napoleon as a whimsical caricature…

Description

Napoleon had awoken, not on the shores of the island of St Helena, but on those Geründerland… his last memory was lying in pain on his bed in Longwood, however that was somewhat hazy and seemed to fade the more he pondered on it. Were thoughts of his death premature? That was not something he wanted to dwell on. This island, if indeed it was an island, looked ready for conquest.

‘Allons-y!’

The miniature is perfect for use in the Osprey book ‘The Silver Bayonet’ – a skirmish wargame of Gothic Horror game set during the Napoleonic wars. Available from Amazon here (link will open in a new window).

This figure was sculpted by Martin Buck, with the work in progress paintwork by myself… the slowest painter in the known world.

There are various bases suitable for Napoleon here; https://thelittlesoldiercompany.co.uk/product-tag/bases/
