The Grotesque Musician is one of the Arent Van Bolten Grotesques that represent the nomadic tribes that normally inhabit the wastes and deserts of Geründerland. They are often found on the fringes of the more civilised areas of course as they specialise in trade and slavery… not a people to treat lightly. The Grotesque Musician is not just a musician, he is a player of great power, occassionally likened to the earthbound Pied Piper of Hamlin. His eldritch tunes can sway the course of armies and smooth the path of consequence…
These nomadic creatures are descendants of pirates lost on the shores of Geründerland… over the years they have been shaped by the magics that drift across the continent until they are little recognisable from their earlier forms… they have kept the rapacious characteristics of their forebears though and, as such, are to be avoided at all costs. They will ally themselves with those they think can help gain an advantage in the constant struggle however, they are wont to betray at the first sign of weakness…
